Smell Good?

The boys got new art supplies for Christmas and some of the markers are 'smelly'. Olivia loves to take them out and "smell" them (which really means that she gets them all over her face, but she is so cute doing it!) We were having so much fun giving her different markers to smell. She knows when she is center of attention and knows how to make us all laugh, she is turning into such a little clown! She started shoving them up her nose to make us laugh, and the boys freaked out that she was going to get boogers on them - that was the end of the 'smelly markers' for today!

Cute! We need to talk! I had a little something about a month ago! I need to tell you the results!

That's too funny! We have similar pictures of Ginny when she was almost 2. She wasn't smelling the markers though, she told me that she wanted a mustache. Luckily she used tattoo markers, so they washed off! What a fun age!
Love, Gin

I love her! I used to try to eat those markers when I was a kid. My favorite was the grape. Didn't taste as good as it smelled.

Hannah had an experience like this once but she didn't think I would find out. She knew she wasn't suppose to get into the markers so she did it on the sly. The only problem was she left the evidence all over her face. She came walking into the study(I think she was 2 1/2 or so), acting as if nothing was going on. Both Greg and I kept our compossure as we began questioning her about what she'd been up to. She answered that she'd been doing "nothing", as if she was being truthful-that's when we knew she could smooth over a fib-and then she questioned us about the looks on our faces. We then gave her a mirror and had her look in it. She started crying and said she was sorry!! After she left the room to go clean her face, Greg and I laughed so hard we were almost crying. I wonder if I have a photo of that somewhere? If I do, I'll post it on my blog. We made sure to take a photo before we brought out the mirror :) Sorry this entry is so long!
