We decorated Easter eggs a few days before Easter this year so that the Easter Bunny could hide the eggs for the kids. The Easter Bunny also hid a basket of yummy Easter treats for the kids - we have really been trying to get back to why we celebrate Easter. Thus, we have asked the Easter Bunny to not bring so many gifts and things that aren't really related to the reason of celebration. Luckily, the kids don't seem to mind.
On Easter, after church, we went to my brother's house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt for the kids - my Mom filled over 100 eggs for the kids, we ran out of places to hide the eggs, so we started just putting them on the grass and putting a little handful of grass to cover them. The kids love being with their cousins and just being able to run around and play - first Easter without Aunt BrieAnn and Uncle Brayden, who are both serving missions, we missed them!
