This is a conversation that I had earlier today with Olivia...she is 4!
O: "I want to change my name to Green".
Me: "No. You can't change your name to Green".
O: "Why? Pink's name is pink, like the color".
Me: "Ok. When you are a Rock Star, then you can change your name to Green".
O: "But I am not going to be a Rock Star, I am going to be an Animal Doctor..."
Me: "Great! Then you keep the name Olivia...I love your name...it's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl".
O: "I don't like my name and I want to be a boy".
Me: "Whatever...why do you want to be a boy"?
O: "So I can do boy stuff and play with boy stuff".
Me: "You can still like and play with boy stuff even though you are a girl..."
O: "You don't know what I am talking about Mom" and walks away.
Really?!?! What happened to my little girlie girl that LOVED to have her hair done, LOVED the color pink, and LOVED princesses? Now her every day goal is to make sure that she is "not wearing a DROP of pink". She makes me laugh...I just hope this "I wanna be a boy" thing doesn't last TOO long...

With two older brothers.....it will last a while.
Just make sure she wants to be a girl when Jacob or Dallin is ready to marry her.
That is so funny. Gotta love that she knows what she wants.
WHAT??!?!?!?? Jacob or Dallin?!?!? just because we live in another state, a million miles away, doesn't mean the arranged marriage between Gabe and Olivia is off!! You better back off Aaron!!
Oh, and I totally think that's too funny! I was so surprised because she was such a little diva BUT I'm sure it's just a phase of some sort. And the name "Green Miller" doesn't sound too bad ;)
