I Survived!

I returned home from Girl's Camp last night!

I went to our Ward's Girl's camp this week, even though I am not serving in the Young Women's right now. They asked for a volunteer to go up for a few days since they didn't have enough leaders that were able to go the whole time, so how could I resist such an amazing offer? The Spirit that feels the camp is so overwhelming the entire time, it is so neat to be up there with the girls during this short amount of time, but a time that allows them to grow so much. I thought that I might be a little out of place not knowing many of the girls, but they took me in and loved and bonded with me just like I had always been one of their leaders. I am grateful for that, because I was really nervous!
Steve and the rest of our Bishopric (Bishop Hunt and Bro. Martins) were able to come up to Heber for the last day and night for testimony meeting and dinner, and they had a great time with the girls as well.

Yesterday morning after camp was cleaned up and packed up, Steve and I went to Park City to celebrate our 9th Anniversary that was on Wednesday. We went shopping and to lunch and then went to Salt Lake to Temple Square, took a few tours and then went to dinner. I was so tired and missing my kids that I hadn't seen in 3 days, so we went and picked them up from Grandma's, went home and crashed!
