We had a FABULOUS time in Chicago with our good friends, Greg and Celeste. There is so much to do in the Windy City!
My sister and her family watched the kids and the puppy for us so that we could go and have a good time. Thanks again!!
The first day that we arrived we went down town (which takes almost 2 hours during rush hour traffic and only 20 normally - CRAZY!) We walked on the Navy Pier and went on a 'Sunset Cruise' around the shore-line, it was so pretty.
Friday morning we went up to the Chicago Temple to do an endowment session for mine and Steve's 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Let's just say that the nice people gave us some pretty good ammo for some great memories. Friday night we went to dinner at an awesome place called Peterinni's (where Steve got us a table when most people make their reservations up to a YEAR in advance - ha! ha!) We then went to see the Broadway show WICKED - it was AMAZING!!! I loved every minute of it and want to go see it again! We got to walk around the city a little bit after the show and were surprised at how clean and beautiful a city with 3 million people living in it can be.
Saturday we went to Six Flags - Great America, and had so much fun! They had some pretty awesome rides there and next time we go, we are definitely not going on a Saturday and we are buying the Flash Pass. It was fun to be able to go with friends and be able to feel like a kid instead of worrying about the kids in tow.
We came home on Sunday and are already to go back for another trip!

FUN! I love love LOOOOOVE Chicago. We are going there this weekend for our Anniversary too. {I've been so lucky to have it so close to us} Don't you love that temple?

I've never been to Chicago (except through the airport on a connection flight) and now you've made me want to go. Glad you had a good time.
That was so much fun! We will have to do it again sometime. Next time, Hawaii :) I finally posted my pics, you'll have to check them out. I'll give you a hint, they include toe nails, toilets, and delivery signs :)
I have to agree with you that Wicked is awesome. I loved it. It is coming to Salt Lake next year.
