We went down to St George this past weekend to support and cheer on our friends and family (Nick) in the Marathon. We had a lot of fun and it's always nice to get to just hang out with the Fam. The kids love seeing their cousins and their Grandma and Grandpa Hanks that we don't get to see very often.
Nick did really well in the Marathon (3 hrs 35 min) and it was great motivation to those of us who are going to run next year! (You all know who you are!) We always go to a little town called Veyo - it's 6 miles into the race and we love to go and cheer the runner's on and I think they appreciate the support too. Anyway, my dang camera wouldn't work in the freezing weather, so I didn't get any pics of Nick or any of the other people we knew - we did get some with Nick's camera, so we'll see if I can get them and post.
The rest of the time was spent just hanging out with everyone - we played lots of games, enjoyed General Conference and just enjoyed each other's company. The kids and I have colds and so Sunday was a pretty miserable day for me - especially the ride home, but we made it, and hopefully we can all get feeling better soon.
Steve and I and the kids are off on another vacation on Wednesday, we are going to Cali. to the beach and Disney Land - so I hope I will have some fun pics to share when we get back!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun! I'm glad to see that you didn't fall off the face of the earth....a week was almost up and I guess according to the blogging world that's a major no-no! :o)
What cute pictures. wow, nick got big! Have fun in Disneyland and we'll get together when you get home.
Hello again - you've been tagged!
Hey Ashley,
Thanks so much for saying "hello"! You have such a cute family and seem so happy. I was also in St. George and ran the marathon (I achieved my personal worst time, but oh well). Veyo was freezing...you must be a trooper to go and cheer your husband on. Talk to you soon, Chelsa
Hey Ash! I'm sorry I missed you! My time was 5hrs. Can't wait to run with you next year!
