Good Friends! :)

Today I got to see my good friend Mindi, we lived next door to each other for almost 2 years when we lived in Provo. She was there for me when Steve was working two jobs and life was really stressful for me with 2 little ones under 2, I think that we spent most days and several nights over at their house or her at mine, letting Jax and her little girl, Kaden, play, while I got to have some adult conversation and probably more meals than I would like to admit. She has been such a great friend and an even better example to me. I miss being able to just walk next door to hang out with her.
Now we are both so crazy busy with kids and life in general, that it's hard to find time to go out. But we were able to go shopping for the last few things that she needs for her new baby, she is due in 3 weeks with her 3rd, a little girl, and looks so cute with her little belly! We also went to lunch and were able to catch up with each others lives. It's nice to know that you can have friendships that you know will last for ever, even if you don't see or talk as often as you would like.

*******************************

We also had plans to go to 'Corn Belly's' with our friends, Greg and Celeste, but the cold weather and SNOW put a damper on that. We ended up going to Chili's for dinner and then back to their house to play an awesome game of CLUE!!! :)
Thanks you guys for being such great friends and remember next time - Greg, Celeste or I (most likely me) will be adding our name to the winner's list! Now remind me - was that Prince Azure or Mr Green in the Library at tea time that stole the medal? Or was it the jade hairpin?

Thanks for a fun night and not complaining TOO much about the back seat!

Hey Ash-
I know what you mean about having good friends that are always there for you. It's so important to have relationships like that. Everyone needs someone that they can always talk to and vent your stresses and frustrations out on. I consider you to be one of these friends. I'm so glad that we have kept in touch even 10 years after graduation. Let's have our girls night soon! love ya- amy

oh my gosh hi! I didn't know you had a girl, how exciting!! Michelle and I haven't been to walmart in a while, I'm now a loyal Albertons shopper :) Good to catch up on your family, we for sure need to get together especially since we got banned from playing in my neighborhood! We should just go with me, you, Michelle and Mindy... let me know if you want to go...
