DisneyLand!!!!

We are back from our trip to California. We had so much fun and had quite a few new adventures thanks to Steve!
I will start with the flights - they were great and flying standby was not as bad as I thought it would be with all 5 of us - Steve is so awesome, he puts together all of the plans and makes sure that everything is taken care of so that I can just enjoy all of his hard work! :)
The hotel that we stayed at was okay, it was one that the Pilots stay at, so we get a good rate, but they forgot to tell us that it is on a really busy street, and I think that we heard at least 12 sirens (most of them in the middle of the night), but hey, that's why they provided earplugs!
The adventure part was the free Trolley that we got to ride to Manhattan Beach and the Mall - the driver was seriously insane! Here I am with a baby in one arm (my right, none the less) grocery sacks in the other (we needed a few things!) and Caden and Jaxen right in front of me - Steve was behind me with the stroller and more sacks. Anyway, the trolley was packed and nowhere to sit! I was concerned about the boys not being able to stand while moving, so while everyone in the dang trolley just stared (plenty of able-bodied men to give their seats up) the dang driver just takes off! I went flying into some guy that caught me and another lady grabbed the boys and I went falling into the back 'stage' area where I had to have that same guy lift me up onto and Steve was trying to catch his balance and not drop the groceries - it was pretty crazy! I guess we now can have a good laugh about it, but I told Steve it's worth the money to rent a car the whole time not to have to put up with crazy Trolley driver's! (That's what we get for taking advantage of a free trolley in LA!) The guy was just inconsiderate and in a hurry! - Bad day I guess? :)
We did have a great time playing at the Beach in the water and the sand, Livi's hated the sand and either had to be held or on a towel the whole time, she did fall asleep so that I could enjoy the water too! (I forgot to put sunscreen on her back and she got fried laying in the sun for an hour! - I know!)
The next day was DisneyLand! We had such a good time and decided that the next time we go, we need to spend 3 days instead of 1 riding the rides. The boys loved every ride that we went on and wanted to do them again and again, and we would have if it hadn't been so dang packed! We thought that going in the middle of October, we would miss the crowds, but I guess that we didn't consider that it is DISNEYLAND!!!! We had a great time and can't wait til we get to go back!
The kids have been so tired from our trip, the last 2 nights they have gone to bed at 7:00 and didn't get up til 8:00 and 9:00 this morning - I could get used to that!
